Now after she unplugged it to bring it downstairs 2 days ago it wont even charge anymore. Cant even try the bios update cuz it asks for a batter with a 10% or more charge. IDK when she got the laptop, im assuming 2008 since it has windows vista. Thanks for the help guys but seems a new motherboard is the only way. Until yesterday I often had this problem and unplugging the power adapter the plugging it in again 2 or 3 times got it working again.
